This is pretty much the top of the line. You either fit in here because you wear the right things, or you have the right kind of money. Preps are the well known kids around school, mostly because your drama makes you the talk of the school. Everyone knows your face, and because of this it's hard to keep a secret. Preps always seem to have constant drama, either because the person loves drama or drama loves them. Which ever one it is, one thing is for sure; when people see you, they know who you are.

Being a jock doesn't have so much to do with being a typical juice head kind of guy. It has more to do with guys being well... 100 percent guys. Jocks have a love for sports of all kinds. Football, Soccer, Lacrosse, you name it. The jocks like to get down and dirty, and usually have an extreme competitive streak. They're the boys and girls who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. Their lives revolve around sports, and they eat sleep and drink working out. The rules jock play by? The rules of the field.

Poser, follower, a charlatan of sorts. A wannabe is someone who copies or immitates the aspects dealing with their idol, generally coming off as faithful little lap dogs, or total annoyances. They want to have the same clothing, skills, vocabulary, etc., of their idols instead of their own, even if it's not necessarily what they believe in. Sometimes they even succeed, slipping right into the crowd without anyone seeing how fake they are. However, underneath the facade there's always a reason for their behavior. Why exactly are they trying so hard?
A goth is one who expresses a different sort of outlook, finding beauty in the dark and morbid side of things. They are, loosely speaking, those who decide to seperate themselves from the mainstream culture, for a slew of varying reasons. They may have a dissatisfaction with modern society, or a will to be different. They may even just take a liking to the styles, whether it be the music or visual or social. Though the goth image may consistently come off as cold and reclusive, this isn't always the case! Some people are quick to judge, but a goth is much deeper than the black on the surface.
Being an outcast is total social suicide. This group is the lowest of the low, and consists mostly of people who enjoy their time alone. A lot of time alone. You can be banished to out cast by a high end in the social ranks, or maybe that's just where you prefer to be. Just know that this group has a lot of time to think about things, because people tend to stay away. Far away.

When some people think of nerds, the image pops into their head instantly; glasses, nasally voice, inhalers, and pocket protectors. What they don't understand is that nerds are so much more than that! Maybe you're really into videogames, or trading cards, or anime. Maybe you absolutely adore math. Maybe, you're just plain awkward around people. Whatever it is, people think you're a little weird for it, and they generally see you as 'uncool.' Really though, whoever said there was anything wrong with a little quirkyness??
Skaters are best known for their 'hard core' attitudes and their love for skate boarding. They're the kids who wear baggy clothing and live to skate. You could be a poser skate boarder who just wears the clothes, or an asshole who can't get over their 'awesome skate moves'. Some of these kids get a bad repution due to the assholes, but a lot of them are really cool and fun to be around. Skaters are kids who like to fight and are slight rule breakers, but too afraid to break the major rules like the Rebels. They listen to hard metal music and spend a lot of their time messing around because they don't think anything besides skating is important.

Hippies are the people who live in the here and now. They're the people who don't think you should work too hard, because you're only young once. These kids tend to be the ones smoking pot and staying strong to their beliefs of 'free love'. It's more of a hang loose life style, where you don't care about much because you think things just come and go. You could be the kind of hippie who lays back and listens to music and does nothing all day, or even the kind that spends all their time worrying about looking laid back. That's just what the Hippie world is about. Being laid back, man.

Musicians, painters, actors; the works. This is where all the creative types fit in. Tortured souls and young hopefuls alike will find solace among like minded peers, getting to show off their talents, compete for the top spot in the school play, or just collaborate with other artists to make something beautiful. Some like to keep to themselves and some like to mingle, but what all of them share is an interest in the arts.
Rebels are the kids who don't want to follow the rules. It's not just the kids who break school rules, but It could be kids who break their parents rules or maybe they break social rules. Rebels are just the kids who love to... well... break rules. Maybe they're the kind of rebel that skips class? Or maybe it's staying out way past your curfew, just because your parents said to be in early. It could even be the kid that wears short clothes every day just because the school says not to."They're the ones who aren't afraid to get a little wild (even if it happens to piss a few people off along the way), and when they make statements, they usually make them big. Whatever it is, they want to get a kick out of it.
